In the summer of 2016 I am diving into the longest docket of commissions ever. My time in July studying traditional music in Korea has led directly to a new movement for my Sinfonietta, due to premiere with the South Dakota Symphony in January. Chai, titled Face of the Deep, integrating music with video of water surfaces – which fascinate both the artist and the angler in me. More projects will keep me busy through the fall and winter.
